Arno Elias
Born in Paris France, Arno Elias is a French American Artist, Painter, Photographer, Musician and Activist.
The artist presents the medium of photography and hand-painted photography as a means of engaging philosophical disquisitions on culture, humankind, and wildlife. Arno Elias has exhibited his art extensively internationally since 2007 and has been selected for numerous prestigious Art Fairs and Art galleries throughout North America, Europe and Asia.
Elias is also a music composer, producer and singer known globally for his productions and compositions of Buddha Bar Music. He produced and composed notable songs such as Amor Amor, Corazon... He also composed the Musical Score for the United Nations Organization in New-York, a Campaign for UNICEF called "For every Child" with recording artist Shakira. Elias was chosen by Brigitte Bardot to compose music for the Brigitte Bardot Foundation, which was created to help protect animals from abuse.
Early life
As a son of a professional musician, Arno went to music school and started playing guitar, drums and piano at the age of 12. He soon after developed his skills as a songwriter.
At 18, the young Arno became a fashion model in Paris. He was chosen by fashion designer Jean-Paul Gaultier to be the face of his worldwide campaign. Working alongside photographers such as Mario Testino and others, influenced his artistic direction and his love for photography.
Between 1998 and 2001, Arno released 2 solo albums in France as a singer, songwriter and producer, Le Monde Inconnu 1998 and Alchimie 2001
